Where did Lonnie go ?

Postby Rick » 08 Jan 2015, 10:18

ok not sure if relevant, but I had a question for Lonnie and sent him a PM never heard from him and then noticed he has not posted anything in over a month, so i'm kind of curious/worried about the health and welfare of him and wondering what happened to him ? anyone know?

Well, he's got an interesting FB cover photo: Zombie miniature with a WGF logo on the back of the shirt. Last (public) update was from late December.
Do you read Sutter Cane?

Early December was his last post on the forums, too.

Aye, I've been wondering the same thing too.

Although, he did mention, a few times, how he thought WGF should charge more for their products so they could pay their employees more.

Daisy said changes are occurring and the scuttlebutt is the company is making directional changes.

Well just got a reply from him, and sent off another PM to him, still unread, so something tells me, hes got other things on his plate more important then this site, problem is I thought he was the voice for WGF here? so if hes not here, then who will be the voice for WGF?

I hope he as well as all at WF are 'alive and sincerely well'.
However, when the Spokesperson or "the Voice", as Rick put it, suddenly seems to go quiet for no clear reason. It does not inspire confidence in the situation, and silence only lends itself towards 'worst case' images.

its not just Lonnie, but it seems like any of the WGF staff has gone quiet, in fact none have posted here in this thread to give comment, which begs one to wonder what is going on? what are they up to? is everything ok ? and so on.

Hello everyone, thank you for your concern, it is appreciated. :)

We apologize for the delay in responding to you. We've been very busy shipping the final wave of Dreamforge-Games' kickstarter. Also there are some changes taking place with the company right now, we'll be posting further details as they solidify.

Regarding Lonnie, he has been let go from the company. I can assure you this was not due to any negligence or wrong doing on his part. The company is undergoing some restructuring and his being let go is a part of that. We'd like to publicly thank Lonnie for the good work he did in researching and planning our kits.
