She's going...

Postby Pumika » 02 Mar 2015, 13:38

As I can't post it in the "Wargames Factory News" thread I place it here:

Daisy Nanton will be leaving WGF too due to the closedown of the company located in Colorado.
I am very sorry to see her go. Cheer up, Daisy and all the best!

That is a shame! Daisy seemed to be a pleasant and cheery public face for WGF. I wish her all the best for the future.
Good bye and good luck Daisy.

Yes, I will miss working with Daisy. I know many of you have enjoyed working with Daisy as well. Please post your goodbyes and thanks here. (Thread has been moved to WGF News.)

Just to add some details so people don't get confused. Wargames Factory LLC was formed in Colorado. However our warehouse where all the inventory is located has always been in Utah. With the restructuring the company's US operations will now be consolidated to Utah. A new company Wargames Factory Distribution LLC will be handling the order processing etc.

Seriously? Aww man. :(

Daisy, thanks for being "You".
You were most helpful, always professional and a great 'face' for the company. I know 'business is business', however IMHO, WF has lost a great asset.

Good luck and good fortune, always.

Aww, you guys are getting me teary eyed. I truly am going to miss this job, the main reason being all of you guys. I have worked in marketing my whole life, and I must say that the wargaming hobby crowd is my favorite, hands down. You all are an enthusiastic, friendly and good natured bunch, and you have made me feel very welcome in an industry that was new to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and good thoughts, it means the world to me! I wish you nothing but great things! :D

Sorry to hear this Daisy, hope you find it easier to get a new job than Lonnie is experiencing at present. All the best for the future.

Thank you, Butty!
I always tend to land on my feet. I am actually venturing out in a completely different direction for the time being. I recently became certified as a Yoga instructor, and I start work next week at a new studio. Here is a recent promo shot of me doing my thing... :D
