The Russian company Zvezda made a set of 28mm "Orc Cavalry" years ago:

Since I really love looking at sprue images to see how things are designed:

I do not have any of these figures and they were discontinued years ago, but I would guess they would be quite large and more like ogres, as opposed to human sized figures.

My favorite Zvezda kit was their Undead Legionaries which I can no longer buy for love or money anywhere (except, possibly, South Korea).

I just looked up the "Undead Legionaires" from Zvesda -- the art images look very cool. I've been looking for something similar: Undead Legionaires, Undead Crusaders, etc. Very cool idea, and am sorry it's been discontinued.

I owned a box until our former dog got a hold of it and ate everything in it. They were pretty cool but too many pieces per model, 10-parts each I think, and true 28mm scale making them small compared to GW skellies.

A lot of the ring of rule stuff from Zvezda looks cool. But I haven't purchased any. I'd really like to get a side by side with those mounts. They look great and I would fully support a similar beast for WGF orcs to ride.

I have the Cursed Legion and Cursed Artillery that I got from Squadron years ago when they were clearing them out. I bought the Cursed Artillery for the artillery because the sale price was only a couple dollars and the figures were just a bonus. I have not put them together, yet.

I never did get the Cursed Legion Cavalry ...

Here are pictures of the box and instructions and how widely-spaced the sprues are (were):

I found a picture of the cavalry sprues. The numbers listed are wrong as the set came with 8 horses, not 6.

Perhaps WGF could produce a similar "Undead Cav" set. I know I'd buy them.
