WWII Brits anytime soon?

Postby Ballardian » 08 Mar 2014, 07:41

New to this forum, It's always good to see a company taking a chance to listen to its supporters. Have had you very good WWII germans for a while (good models, particularly like the provision of plenty of GW 43's as I use them in a weird war setting) & was wondering if WWII Brits were on the horizon?

They are something that I have been researching but we don't talk about release dates until we see plastic sprues coming off the production lines.

If you do the British please include mustaches on at least half the heads. Lets keep this legit.

WWII Brits would be fantastic to see! Of course I would be happy to see WWII Italians too, but Brits would be my first choice. I have a number of boxes of German, US and Soviet (but I am passing them off as Bulgarians and Romanians).

I would like to see an expansion of the existing armies before any new armies were brought into the fold. However, I do completely support Britain being the next nationality that is being produced.

+1 from me. It's the logical next late war infantry kit. But that isn't to say adding support weapons or vehicles to the existing lines wouldn't be good too.

World War II British infantry would be ideal. It is a very much needed addition to the line. Especially considering how popular 28mm gaming is in British countries.

I think for heavy weapons and support sets, it would be best to start with British troops. Other companies seem to have a plethora of support weapons for Russians. Mind you, people can never seem to get enough of German troops.

Mustachios would be legit on Warrant Officers and Commissioned Officers. Lower ranks did not sport them very often at all. It was the same when I was in and it is still the same today (with probably more of an emphasis on Warrants than on Commissioned officers).

Any update on this thread Lonnie? Now that WF has tipped its hand by partnering with https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/33195679/wwii-assault-tactical-skirmish-combat is there any new whispers about the brits or the WW2 range in general?
