Gladiators

Postby Lord_Bryon » 27 Mar 2014, 12:08

I was wondering if Gladiators would make for a viable kit. Gladiators are as popular as ever in movies, television, and video games. Why not have some miniatures too. I’m aware there are metal gladiators available but I prefer the customization options presented by plastics.

I think a sprue of 10 gladiators and 2 gladatrix would be nice. Include various heads, arms, and weapons to make the different gladiator types. It would be even better if a few beasts could be added to the kit a Lion and Lioness for example, maybe a boar or a bear as well.

To appeal to fantasy gamers maybe add a few fantasy race heads (orcs, elf, goblin) to the mix.

Adding the fantasy heads is a great idea, or maybe have a small blister pack of fantasy heads. It would be great for rpgs or to just make certain figures stick out more.

... now I want to slap an orc head on say, a ww2 figure just to see how it would look.

orc heads belong on Nazi uniforms or the SS uniforms, they look wicked cool.

let me guess you just got the mental image in your head of a Nazi with an orc head on it and thought that does look cool, right?
