1/144 great war aircraft

I think that a couple of sets of 1/144 scale ww1 aircraft would be really awesome. A central powers box with albatros d.vs and Fokker dr.1s and an entente box with spad xiiis and Sopwith camels would be really cool. Now i there was eventually a set with my favorite aircraft of all time, the macchi m.5, that would be amazing. Also, if there was a conveniently sized peg hole on the bottom of the aircraft... Compatible with a certain card driven dogfighting game...

1/100th scale might be better. I know 1/144 is popular but 1/100 is 15mm scale and with the pending release of various 15mm WWI figure sets that might be a better way to go.

Planes don't really have to scale the same when used with ground forces unless they're being used for terrain - Flames of War uses 1/144 birds and they look fine up on their flight stands.

Personally, I'm getting too old for these sorts of fiddly things, so I'll stick to Wings of Glory prepaints... ;)
