First Amazons...

Slowly working through painting a box of these ladies... I'm planning to use them in games of LOTR SBG as proxy Rohan warriors.

I really like the one on the left. Good skin tones.

Well done on the black breastplate. How did you achieve that effect. I'm wanting to try it and I'm getting meh results.

Breast plate is a base coat of Vallejo Black Grey (862) thinned slightly, a dry brush of Citadel Fenrisian Grey and then two washes with Citadel Nuln Oil (one all over and the second just to hit areas of deepest shadow)

If you paint black.. black then there is no way of shading it. Use a very dark shade of blue, grey, green etc (black mixed with a touch of either will do) then highlight with appropriate light colour (blue, grey, green etc) then give it a black wash
