My AWI British Colour Guard.

Postby Ned » 15 Jun 2014, 09:46

Hi folks. I thought I'd throw these up. It's not much of a conversion really but they aren't put together as the instructions tell you lol. This is my first go at WGF figures and they are from the new AWI British infantry range. The main conversion is the bugler; I gave him a different body so he is in step with the other guys. I also cut out his rifle and filed down his hand area to make it look empty and gave him a sword to match the other guys as well. For the others I just put on one of the head options from the spru in order for all four to look the same.

I like the choice to switch the body to a matching step, nicely done.

I like them. Small attention to detail like that makes things just look different than the rest!

I know what you mean Ned, I have flipped thru "air page" after "air page" with that paper work. :D

Thanks for the kind words all. Jack, I will be happy to put a WIP post up in the painting section if you like. I will warn you I am not much of a blogger or one to make detailed posts on projects but maybe posting up progress will motivate me to work faster than I normally do lol.
