30,000 Hessians versus an army of circa 40,000 Ming Chinese with circa 400 cannon in tow (the Hessians brought far fewer artillery pieces to the Americas IIRC). The Hessians failed to help England keep the Colonies in the fold. The Ming Chinese tipped the scales in the land war strategically against the Japanese in Korea, so I still say WF do Ming Chinese as a natural fit to square off against their samurai and ashigaru.
